Senior Minister
Ken and Becky Ryder accepted the leadership of Calvary Church, a long-established place of worship in this city, in 2022.
As Pastor and Senior Minister, Ken brings many years of church service and ministry since his youth. He retired from a successful business career in 2018, and since then Ken has engaged more fully in church ministry, gaining Ordination, and helping churches develop their potential. Ken loves to go deep into God’s Word and help people discover and apply the great and precious promises therein.
Becky has also been involved in various aspects of church ministry from an early age. At Calvary Church, she uses her many talents to help with church work, including administration and Ladies Ministry.
Both find great fulfillment in leading the church and finding ways to serve the Napanee community.
Assistant Pastor
Joe and Sarah Shaw joined Calvary Church in 2025 as a family of four, after a ministry transition brought them to serve our congregation and the Greater Napanee community.
As Assistant Pastor focused on Christian Education, Joe brings decades of church leadership and ministry experience, along with a career in public education. He is passionate about helping people grow in their faith and equipping the church for spiritual growth and service.
Sarah serves alongside Joe as Worship Director, bringing her experience in music, worship team leadership, and human resources management to her ministry at Calvary Church.
Together, Joe and Sarah are enthusiastic about serving people, strengthening the church, and seeing God’s work flourish throughout Greater Napanee.
